Families of 2025-26 kindergarten and first grade students will receive information and registration support for the 25-26 ASL-Dual Language Program.
Apply online by April 4, 2025, for kindergarteners and 1st graders to be considered for the 2025-26 Highly Capable Young Scholars Program testing.
This annual awards program recognizes staff, volunteers and community partners for their commitment in supporting the success of students and schools.
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, ignite your passion for science, technology, engineering, arts, and math at the 2025 PSD STEAM Celebration at Firgrove Elementary!
The sessions are an opportunity to learn how the bond would help address overcrowding, modernize aging facilities, and create safe and innovative learning spaces for the future while maintaining the current tax rate.
In a unanimous decision, the Puyallup School Board approved placing a bond measure on the April 22, 2025, special election ballot.
From April 7-11, Right At School will host Spring Break Camps at Dessie F. Evans Elementary and Sunrise Elementary, offered to all PSD Elementary Students.
Transition to Kindergarten is a free program designed to assist pre-k-aged learners who would benefit from additional support to be successful in kindergarten.

In partnership with School's Out Washington, each session will provide various resources for refugee families, including:
- Basic and financial needs
- Student tutoring
- Adult English-Language classes for adults and career support
We will host the sessions on Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. on the following dates:
- November 23
- December 7, 14 and 21
- January 11, 18 and 25
- February 1, 8 and 22
- March 1, 8 15, 22 and 29
- April 5, 19 and 26
- May 3, 10, 17 and 31
- June 7
Potluck Celebration
On Saturday, June 14, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Puyallup Public Library, we will host a potluck celebrating our refugee families.

This session focuses on nurturing the unique needs of early learners. Families will learn about developmental milestones and effective practices to support their child's growth, curiosity, and readiness for future learning experiences.
No registration is required to join the classes.
The program will provide translation services for both in-person and virtual attendees. Childcare services will be provided for in-person attendees.
About the 2024-25 Free Parent and Caregiver Learning Series
Are you a parent, guardian, or caregiver looking for free developmental courses and support to help you foster a proactive approach to support and preventative care?
The Puyallup School District has partnered with Behavior Bridges to host a series of parent and caregiver learning classes during the 2024-25 school year for our families.
The classes are designed to offer attendees comprehensive support in understanding and nurturing their child’s healthy development. Also, they will gain access to valuable information and resources aimed at enabling them to create a supportive and enriching environment for their children to thrive.
The free classes will be held from 5 to 6 p.m.
